Founded in 2009, we are a studio space, creative production company and team of curators and creators who passionately bring your visions, stories, and experiences to life.
The CS team are a friendly bunch of committed individuals, passionate about doing the job right, delivering the assets you need and taking the fuss out of production. Successful, long term relationships with our clients is testament to this fact.
Our range of services include full creative photo and video production, post production, studio / equipment rentals, and creative experiential events. We have strong in house resources and a diverse and extensive network of qualified partners.
Rodney Evans
Co-founder & Executive Producer
Rodney opened the highly acclaimed Shanghai studio in 2009. A photographer at heart, Rodney has a deep understanding of the creative process and technical requirements of commercial photo and video shooting with a passion for tackling the most challenging projects.
Natasha Ivachoff
Co-founder & Director of Creative Experiences
As a creative director, Natasha has a unique, emotionally driven multidisciplinary approach that is rarely found in the modern creative. Having worked as fashion designer and CD for over 25 years throughout Australia, Asia and Europe, Natasha has run several successful fashion brands as well as consulting for many other leading brands. With storytelling as her key drivers, every creative piece must have purpose to resonate with the target and in turn create a memorable execution.
Kai Zheng
Production Lead / Executive Producer
Kai has worked at Central Studios for over five years where he has developed extensive experience in managing projects from high profile international campaigns and events to the nuanced knowledge in delivering digital and social assets. From the ever evolving budgets and timeline development to talent management, Kai enjoys the pursuit of “finding the better solutions.”
Eva Jin
Post Production Manager
Eva has over seven years of retouching experience including experience with the acclaimed Happy Finish. With over 10 years of project management in various 4A advertisement firms, she is familiar with the process and challenges that come with campaign development and execution. This has proven to be an asset with helping clients launch assets that are just right.
James Wang
Operations Manager
James has been a strong Central Studios team member over the years. He started his career as a photo assistant and over the years, moved on to manage the studios, digital assets as well as an in-house photographer. After spending the last three years as a freelance photographer focusing on lifestyle and architecture, James has returned to CS to manage the operations and lead the photo team with his years of varied experience.
Tina Meng
Finance Manager
With a degree in Business English, Tina quickly learned her passion for details was perfect for accounting. For six years, Tina has ensured Central Studios runs smoothly and continues to make this company her home because she enjoys being in the creative industry and part of the CS team.
Frida Zhang
Senior Retoucher
Frida gives off low key vibes and dresses in monochrome. The colors are left for her work as a retoucher. From magazine covers or key visuals for international brands, she has a pension for beautiful aesthetics and perfection. With ten years of professional experience, Frida joined the CS team in 2019 as a senior retoucher.
