ARTISANAL: A CREATIVE LABORATORY EXHIBITION

Within a row of carefully placed shipping containers directly on Yandang Lu in the heart of Shanghai, an archival collection of Maison Margiela’s most iconic pieces since 1989 were displayed as public art for all to admire, with some of the looks coming right off the historic FW26 show held the day before the exhibition opened.

The installation blended seamlessly into the rhythm of the street. City walkers meandered through the exhibition in the spring sunshine, while photographers captured the display and the fashionistas, all styled in their favourite Margiela pieces.
