Continuing our successful partnership with Zara to push the boundaries of live streaming in China, we just launched a new format of live entertainment with a reality-style live show.

Shanghai On-board (上海上车) pulls together five new friends as they begin to forge bonds with each other on board a customised Zara bus guided by our host, You Tian Yi.
 
The cast don’t know where they are driving to or what lies ahead until they arrive at a mystery location. As the show progresses, they try to guess who the mystery guest is, until finally the cast find out they will be VIP guests at a private concert with superstar Lexie Liu.
 
The show ends with a spectacular live performance by Lexie Liu singing Manta and Pop Girl exclusively for the cast and of course the live audience online.
 
The reality of the show was carried out with cinematic quality that many viewers online felt they were watching a movie. Directed by Julien Ayrault, the show produced a full set of assets to populate the Zara live online portal featuring photos, videos and additional content (also shot and directed by Julien).
 
Using this content to create a new way to shop, Zara continue to innovate in e-commerce by creating shoppable content with the show assets, presenting the range of products across multiple scenarios.
