Its the day you’ve been waiting for – Central Studios’ Summer Fair Day – is back and it’s going to be bigger than ever!
On Sunday June 23, we are throwing open the doors to our newly renovated space and taking over the whole yard in our 751 compound This year also marks an important milestone for Central Studios, as we are turning 10.
Our Fair Day is a much-anticipated occasion amongst the Shanghai fashion and photography industry as the day off to chill with the community. Some of Shanghai’s most creative and talented designers, artists and foodies will be out in force – its curated design, vintage fashion, art, shopping and great food & drinks. Music and fun for all the family, whilst basking in the summer sunshine.
We have a killer line up of DJs who are all donating their time for the good cause of our day – The Library Project. Confirmed DJs so far include Lacy Chu, Queenie, Cavia and Lise Olsen and China Social Club
Expanding the activities to the whole 751 compound means more space and more fun. In the garage, Yumi x Standard Nerds Club bring you the official CS Fair Day Ping Pong tournament! Come and flex your ping-pong skills. They will hold a series of games including drink & smash, team round robin and a proper tournament for the serious ping-pongers with great prizes on offer.
To keep you well fed, our F&B offering this year include Homeslice Pizza, Victor Viera’s Brasilian BBQ, NY Yunnan Food, Little Catch. Drinks by Bitter, Ask Jerry.
New this year we will be launching the Red Crate Project – a Central Studios social initiative supported by Beats by Dr Dre where we invite our guests to take home a red crate to use for recycling around the house. Change starts in the home!
With The Library Project as our dedicated charity, proceeds from the Fair Day will go into helping them continue their amazing work. The Library Project is dedicated to helping provide much needed educational resources to children from impoverished schools throughout China. Proceeds from the Fair Day will go into helping build much needed libraries. To date, we are proud to say that along with the help of our community and all those who have attended previous Fair Days, Central Studios has funded 9 libraries and reading rooms for these deserving children in rural areas throughout China.
This year entry is 10RMB which will help contribute to supporting The Library Project! The event starts at 10am and continues all day until 6pm at 751 Huangpi Nan Lu.
